In 2015, Yamaha WaveRunner introduced a full refresh — new design, smarter technology, and richer features — all created to make riding easier and more fun than ever.

At the heart of this evolution is Yamaha’s exclusive RiDE (Reverse with Intuitive Deceleration Electronics) system. With dual handlebar throttle controls, riders can accelerate, slow down, reverse, or shift to neutral smoothly and confidently — a first in the PWC world. It’s simple, intuitive, and gives you total control on the water.

Yamaha also developed NanoXcel2, a lighter and stronger hull and deck material. Used on performance-focused models like the FZ and FX SVHO series, it delivers sharper handling and a true sport riding feel.

The legendary VX series, trusted worldwide since 2005, raised the bar again with a redesigned hull and standard RiDE technology — combining comfort, safety, and excitement in one complete package.

For thrill-seekers, the VXR and VXS performance models feature RiDE and a powerful 1.8L High Output engine, delivering maximum acceleration and top-tier performance.
